In 2012, Refilwe started experiencing pain on her left-hand side; she was unable to sleep on her affected side. When she went to the doctor, she was diagnosed with paraesthesia and numbness in her left-hand side. Refilwe had waist pain, she could not hold things with her left hand and she struggled to perform daily activities. She got tired of living with so much pain and then she decided to attend the Healing School.
