AUTHORITY OF THE BELEIVER-PART B
EXERCISING AUTHORITY IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Philippians 2:9-10 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that  Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.

Mark 16: 17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils……

The name of Jesus Christ has been given to the church. We exercise authority over the devil and over everything that is contrary to God’s word in that name.  the say whom, resist steadfast in faith the level of  faith is directly related to the degree of God’s word dwelling in your heart so you see, your faith is important in resisting.  There is only one name given to the Church. That name has power; it will unlock every door and destroy every sickness. That name is the name of Jesus. You might not be able to walk in your own name or in the name of your family, but in the name of Jesus, you can do whatever you can not do. Jesus talked to a tree and it obeyed him, He commanded bread to multiply and it did, He spoke to the wind and the waves and they were calmed. He spoke to blind eyes and they opened up, deaf ears and they were unstopped, even the lame got up and walked, lepers were cleansed, He spoke to the dead and the dead responded to Him.  That is the name of Jesus.  There is something about that name, at the sound of that name, everything bows, demons tremble, hell quakes. God has declared that at that name every knee should bow. All of creation bows at the mention of that name. He said, He has given you all authority He said nothing shall by any means hurt you, it doesn’t matter how the devil tries or through whatever means he tries to rob you, it could be negative thoughts or contradictory sensory evidence. Whatever it is, He says nothing shall by any means hurt you. The name of Jesus has power over every disease, no matter what name it is called, it has power over cancer. Cancer is a name, fever is a name, arthritis is a name, blood pressure is a name, the name of Jesus has power over every sickness, every disease, it is a name above all names; you say, I rebuke this pain in the name of Jesus, I command it to die from the root. It dies because you say so. You may not see any change immediately. When Jesus Christ spoke to the fig tree, nothing happened that day but the next day Peter called to remembrance and said Master see, the tree which thou curseth is dead.  Mark 11:20-23. When you address the situation, it begins to die from its root. Hallelujah!
