YOU RECEIVE SOMETHING WHEN YOU BELIEVED
Believing is never an empty spiritual exercise. In the Kingdom of God, faith always produces a result. Whenever a man truly believes God, something is transmitted, something changes, and something is received. Many people think believing is simply agreeing mentally with God’s Word, but believing goes far beyond acknowledgment. This is why every time faith was expressed in the scriptures, there was always a
manifestation—salvation, healing, miracles, deliverance, restoration, or supernatural supply.
Our opening scripture John 3:16 reveals this clearly: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Observe that believing produced a reception. The one who believes does not go away empty; he receives everlasting life. This reveals a powerful spiritual principle: when you believe, you receive. And this principle is not limited to salvation alone. It governs every blessing that comes from God.
FAITH A CHANNEL TO RECEIVE DIVINE BLESSINGS
God’s blessings are available, but they are not automatically experienced by everyone. They are received through believing. Jesus made this principle plain in Mark 11:24: “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Notice His order—believe first, receive inwardly by faith, and then the outward manifestation follows.
This means receiving is tied to believing. If a man believes for salvation, he receives eternal life. If he believes for healing, he receives healing. If he believes for a miracle, he receives divine intervention. If he believes for provision, he receives supply. Faith is the spiritual connector between God’s provision and man’s experience.
IN SALVATION, BELIEVING PRODUCES ETERNAL LIFE
The first and greatest thing man receives by faith is eternal life. John 6:47 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The moment a man believes in Jesus Christ, eternal life is imparted to his spirit. He does not wait till heaven to receive it; he receives it instantly.
1 John 5:11 says, “God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” So, salvation itself proves the divine pattern—believing always comes with receiving. You believed, and you received life. But God did not stop there. The same faith-principle continues in every other area of Christian experience.
IN HEALING, BELIEVING PRODUCES DIVINE HEALTH
Throughout the ministry of Jesus, healing was consistently tied to believing. The blind men cried unto Him for mercy, and Jesus asked them in Matthew 9:28, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” When they answered, He said, “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29). Their believing became the basis for their receiving.
To the woman with the issue of blood, after she pressed through the crowd and touched His garment, Jesus said, “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole” (Matthew 9:22). Not her tears. Not the crowd. Not her years of suffering. Her faith.
Healing is received when believing is activated. Just as James 5:15 says, “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” Even healing answers when faith calls.
IN IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS, BELIEVING PRODUCES MANIFESTATION
Faith does not only work for salvation and healing; it works for miracles. Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” That is a staggering statement. It means believing opens the door to possibilities beyond human limitations.
When Martha was troubled over Lazarus being dead for four days, Jesus said to her in John 11:40, “Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” Believe first. See the glory after.
This is the divine sequence many miss. People want to see first so they can believe, but God says believe first and then you will see. Miracles are not products of physical evidence; they are manifestations of prior faith.
In conclusion, one of the greatest truths every Christian must understand is that faith never leaves a man empty. Whenever genuine believing takes place, there is always a reception from God. This is why you must never treat faith as a religious routine. Faith is a divine force that takes possession of spiritual blessings. Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “When ye pray, believe that ye receive…” That means at the point of believing, heaven marks it as delivered.
So the next time you stand on God’s Word, understand this: you are not merely hoping, you are not merely wishing, you are not merely trying. You are receiving. Because in God’s Kingdom— you always receive something when you believe.
